Claudnyse Holloman and Andrea LeGendre

Children Advocacy

Jan. 13, 2026

This week we have two speakers who work together in our community for the well-being of our children and to fight child abuse, Claudnyse Hollaman and Andrea  LeGendre.

Claudnyse D. Holloman (pictured) is a dedicated advocate for the well-being of children. Previously, she worked as a private practice attorney, representing both children and adults in various capacities, including several non-profit organizations. Currently, she serves as the President & CEO of Voices for Children Advocacy Center, where her focus is on helping children and families who have been victims of child abuse, neglect, and human trafficking. Throughout her tenure, Claudnyse has actively worked to expand services and improve laws for child survivors, solidifying Voices for Children Advocacy Center as a leading organization in the Mid-Michigan area.

As a dedicated public servant, Andrea  LeGendre has spent her career devoted to the People of Genesee County and beyond.  Andrea has spent the past 25 years as an Assistant County Prosecutor with the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office.  As Bureau Chief, leading the Felony Trial Division, she also oversees Family and Probate Court handling hearings involving child abuse and neglect, delinquencies, guardianships and civil mental health proceedings.
